My favourite keeper's cakes & cookies

From day one I started my "Through The Kitchen Door", I have baked many types of cakes and cookies. Today I would like to reminisce my favourite posts. 

Below are my top ten favourite and shall be my keeper's.......in no particular order...




1) Strawberry Shortcake

4) Orange Poppy Seed Chiffon Cake 




5) Kumquat Almond Teacakes 



 
6) Hokkaido Chiffon Cupcakes 


 7) Pandan Layer Cake 




8) Steamed Fruit Cake 



9) Spongy Banana Cake 


 
10) Almond Cookies

  2. Mel, looking at the pictures I can understand why these recipes are keepers. I like all of them and the first one I want to try is the spongy banana cake.

      The name spongy banana cake says it all....spongy n soft so it is worth to try to make it. And easy to make too.

  4. it's too hard deciding on favorites ^^|| but it's good you did.. now i can easily try your favorite bakes.. starting with kumquat almond teacakes ^^ this should be interesting since i've never had kumquats before.. now to find kumquats (?) ^^

      I am glad to hear that you would like to start off with this kumquat almond teacakes!!! It is super super super delicious! If only I could get kumquats all year round ........ Do try it if you can find kumquats .

One day I want to make strawberry shortcake... but I am not sure about all kinds of spongy cake that's why I've never made any layered cake before... it looks a lot of work to bake sheet of sponge... but I guess it's worth it right? I enjoyed looking at top 10. I enjoy all of your recipes but it's fun to know what's your favorite!
